Theory and Hazard Perception Test
It’s compulsory to complete a theory test prior to taking your practical test. We have all the latest DSA publications and multi media resources to get you through your test. You can either borrow a CD ROM and go at your own pace or if you need a helping hand why not spend a few hours in our training suite and we’ll go through things together. Alternately log on to www.theory-tests.co.uk or download the latest DSA theory test app to your iPhone. When your ready to book your test you can do it on-line at www.dsa.gov.uk

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
Under current legislation anyone who wishes to ride a motorcycle or scooter on the public highway must complete a compulsory basic training course. Although the course is not a test, all pupils must demonstrate a competent level of riding, and will need a good understanding of The Highway Code prior to the course commencing.

Intermediate
After completing a CBT course, further training will be required to bring you up to test standard. This training is conducted on road using 125cc machines, and the amount of time required will be dependant on ability. If you want to practise at your own pace we offer motorcycle hire at very competitive rates.

Rusty Rider
If you haven't ridden for a while, unfamiliar with the latest modern machines, daunted by the high volume of traffic, this course will get you right back up to speed.

Direct Access
If you are 21 or over, it is possible to do your motorcycle training on a big bike. We currently use CategoryA/A2 bikes. Subject to ability it’s possible to train and take your test on these bikes. Once you pass your test, you will not have any restrictions on your licence.

Enhanced Rider (ERS) Scheme
Risk assessment for riders! Prove that you are a safe and competent rider and earn discount off your insurance. Save money and improve your skills: The ERS route is the way to go.

Advanced Course
Want to get the maximum enjoyment from your machine, having problems in the twisties, perhaps need some motorway tuition: An advanced course will sort you out.

Instructor Course
If your over 21yrs of age and have held your full motorcycle licence for three years or more why not consider an Instructor's course. We cover everthing from your own riding ability, training with reallife candidates through to various scenarios looking at fault identification, fault analysis and remedial action. We'll give you all the help and guidance to pass your Cardington Assessments. When your fully qualified we have work ready and waiting for you.
